Assistant Quality Control Officer

• Trade Apprentice (Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist):
  • The Candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10th ) with a full-time 2-year ITI certificate in the respective trade, recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
• Technician Apprentice (Mechanical):
  • The Candidates must have completed a 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
• Technician Apprentice (Electrical):
  • The candidates must have passed 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD) from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
• Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation):
  • The candidates must have passed 3-year full-time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution.
• Technician Apprentice (Civil):
  • The candidates must have passed 3-year full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
• Technician Apprentice (Electronics & Electrical Engineering):
  • The candidates must have completed 3-year full-time Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• Technician Apprentice (Electronics):
  • The candidates must have passed a 3-year full-time Diploma in Electronics Engineering.
• Graduate Apprentice (BBA/BA/B.Com/B.Sc.):
  • Candidates must have a regular full-time graduate degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) from an AICTE/UGC-recognized university.
• Data Entry Operator (Fresher):
  • The candidates must have passed Class 12th only.
• Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders):
  • The candidates must have passed Class 12th and also possess a Skill Certificate in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ issued by a recognized authority under the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF).

• Assistant Quality Control Officer as on 28.02.2025
  • Minimum Age – 18 Years
  • Maximum Age – 24 Years

• OBC – 3 Years
• SC/ST – 5 Years
• PWD – 10 Years

IOCL Apprentice Notification 2025 – Salary Details

• The stipend for apprentices will be as per Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992/2019, as amended from time to time. The stipend for Graduate and Technician Apprentices is paid in two parts: one from BOAT and one from IOCL. Trade Apprentices will receive the full stipend from IOCL.

IOCL Apprentice Notification 2025 – Selection Process

• The selection will be based on a merit list prepared according to the percentage of marks obtained in the academic qualification. In case of a tie, preference will be given to the older candidate (based on date of birth).
• Final Selection based on Merit Score
