CSIR ASO & SO Exam Pattern
The CSIR Section Officer and Asst.Section Officer exam is conducted in three phases: Paper-I, Paper-II, and Paper-III. Paper-I is an online objective-type examination that is conducted for 100 marks. The CSIR CASE-2023 written exam consists of General Awareness is of 100 marks, English is 50 marks General Intelligence has 200 marks and Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English and General Studies. Each section in the exam is of 20 marks. The duration of the CSIR written exam is 1 hour. Given below is the CSIR Exam pattern
How to Apply for CSIR ASO & SO Recruitment 2023
All the candidates are required to submit their application for the CSIR recruitment 2023 through the online mode only. The Candidates who want to apply for the CSIR recruitment 2023 can follow the given steps –
1. Applicants working in Government Departments shall be required to intimate to their Department / Office and have
to submit “No Objection Certificate” / “Intimation to the office” from their employer at time of document verification
or when asked to submit, failing which their candidature will NOT be considered. CSIR will not accept any person on
lien or deputation basis.
2. Eligible candidates are required to apply on-line through CSIR website: website i.e. https://www.csir.res.in/
3. No other mode of application will be accepted.
4. The candidates have to remit application fee Rs.500/- through NET Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.
5. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities/Women/Ex-Servicemen/CSIR Employees are
exempted from submission of application fee.
6. Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit the online application much before the closing date and not to
wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the CSIR website on account
of heavy load on the website during the closing days.
