The ICAR–Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture (CIFA), located in Kausalyaganga, Bhubaneswar, has announced a recruitment opportunity for the position of Young Professional-I. Educational Qualification
Young Professional-I
- Essential Qualification: A degree in B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) or B.Sc. in Zoology or Life Sciences from a recognized university.
- Desirable Qualification: Practical experience in ornamental aquaculture and knowledge of aquarium fish keeping and maintenance.

ICAR-CRRI Recruitment 2025 : : Exam Pattern
There is no written examination for this recruitment. The selection is based on interview performance and evaluation of academic credentials and work experience.
Selection
- The selection will be conducted in two parts:
- Evaluation of Educational Qualification and Experience – Candidates are scored on the basis of their academic marks and work experience.
- Educational Qualification: up to 30 marks
- Work/Research Experience: up to 20 marks
- Personal Interview – 50 marks
- The final merit list will be prepared out of 100 marks
