The Indian Army has released the official notification for the Technical Graduate Course (TGC-143) scheduled to begin in July 2026 at the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun. Application Fees:
There is no application fee for the Indian Army TGC-143 recruitment. The entire application process is free of cost.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of an Engineering Degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in one of the notified disciplines.
- Final-year students are also eligible, provided they can produce their degree certificate and mark sheets by 01 July 2026.
- The cumulative percentage up to the final semester must meet the prescribed cut-off for shortlisting.
- Candidates appearing for their final exams after July 2026 are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 20 years
- Maximum age: 27 years
Candidates must have been born between 01 July 1999 and 30 June 2006.
Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for this course.
Selection Process:
The recruitment process includes the following stages:
Final Joining Letter for candidates meeting all eligibility and fitness requirementsrepared based on 70% weightage to the written test and 30% to the interview.

- Shortlisting of Candidates based on academic marks
- Allotment of SSB Centre
- SSB Interview (5 days) at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar
- Medical Examination for recommended candidates
- Merit List Preparation based on SSB marks
