Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Maintainer

During 1st year of training stipend of ₹20,000/- Per Month.
During 2nd year of training stipend of ₹ 22,000/- Per Month.
Book allowance (one time grant) – ₹ 3000/-

Category-ll Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Operator

• HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Maintainer

• SSC (10th) with minimum 50% marks in Science subject(s) and Mathematics individually and 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade (Electrician/Fitter/Instrumentation/Electronics/ Machinist/Turner/Welder)

The ITI certificate should be in trades, which have relevance to the field of training and appointment in O&M

The trades for which the duration of ITI course is less than two years and the candidate has undergone one-year apprenticeship training in different industries/establishments after completion of the course in that trade, the same shall be considered as one-year experience.

Candidates should meet the following Age Limit 

Category-ll Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Operator / Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) Maintainer

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 24 Years

Age Relaxation as per Govt Guidelines

OBC – 3 Years
SC/ST – 5 Years
PWD – 10 Years

03 (Three) marks shall be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Qualifying Standards: 

General Category (UR)– 40% marks      SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS – 30% marks

Advanced Test [Test will be of 02 (two) hours duration and maximum 150 Marks]

• Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Operator: The level of questions will be based on the syllabus in
  HSC or ISC
• Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Maintainer: The level of questions will be based on their
  respective trade.
• The Test will comprise 50 Multiple Choice Questions (Choice of four answers) with 03 (Three) marks shall
  be awarded for each correct answer and 01 (one) mark shall be deducted for each incorrect answer

General Category (UR)– 30% marks      SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS – 20% marks

Based upon the merit list prepared after Stage-2, candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test.

Skill Test (Only for the post of Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN)-Maintainer)

Qualifying Standards for skill test:

General Category (UR)– 50% marks ,  SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD/EWS – 40% marks

➢ A soft copy of your passport size photo, Left Thumb impression and signature (jpeg/jpg format only)
➢ Date of Birth certificate
➢ Matriculation certificate (equivalent to 10th Standard) and Mark Sheet
➢ Intermediate certificate (equivalent to 12th Standard) and Mark Sheet
➢ Any Degree/ Diploma certificate (Graduation/Post Graduation) and Mark Sheet
➢ Experience Certificate, if any
➢ Caste Certificate in the format prescribed by the Government of India

• The Candidates need to visit the sites www.npcilcareers.co.in
• Click on the Option Apply Online 
• Click on Apply=>Online Registration at the top/left corner of web page for registration. The applicant is required to furnish all basic information such as Name, Date of Birth, Category, Email, Mobile number. On successful completion of this stage, activation link is generated/allotted and sent to applicant’s email.
• The applicant is required to activate the account by clicking on the activation link received through email after completing registration in Step 1.
• On successful completion of this activation, applicants can login using  their Login ID and password to apply online. In this step the applicant is required to fill all details of her/his Educational Qualifications, Work Experience etc
• The sequence of stages is Educational Qualifications , Post Qualification Work Experience, if any, ण Personal Details, Upload Photo & Signature
