Junior Grade Typist / Data Entry Operator (Group-C)

• A candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or such other qualification equivalent thereto. He/ She should have typewdting skill with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute in the Computer and should have passed PGDCA Course in Computer.

Candidates should meet the following Age Limit 

He/She must not have been born earlier than 30.08.1992 and not later than 28.08.2003.

• Preliminary Examination,
• Main Written Examination

Odisha High Court Junior Grade Typist / Data Entry Operator (Group-C) Recruitment 2024 : Syllabus Examination

• Preliminary Examination (Qualifying) – 150 marks (2 hours duration)

Those candidates who secure not less than 33% of mmks in the S.C./ S. T. category  and not less than 40% in rest of the categories in the Preliminary Examination shall be called upon to appear in the Language Tes

• Language  Test (Qualifying) – IOO Marks (2 hours)

This test which aims at evaluating a candidate’s knowledge in both English uld
Odia language, shall be conducted in the following pattern:
(i) An essay in English (containing 300 words)    –  30 Marks
(ii) Precis writing                                                         – 20 Marks
(iii) Translation of a passage from English to Odia  –  20 Marks
(iv) Translation of a passage from Odia to English   – 20 Marks
(v) English Grammar     – 10 Marks

• Computer Application Test (Qualifying) – IOO Marks

• Main Written Examination – IOO Marks (IO minutes)

a) The test will be held for 10 (Ten) minutes and the candidates are required to type the contents from a printed matter (400 words approximately) at a speed of 40 (forty) words per minute
b) While assessing the accuracy of reproduction, 1 (one) mark will be deducted for each mistake in ale typed script. Omission of words shall be treated as mistakes

• Viva-Voce          –       20 Marks

The marks secured by the candidate(s) in the Viva-Voce Test shall be added to the marks obtained by him / her in the Main Written Examination (Typewriting Test in English) so as to arrive at the total marks secured by him / her and the names of the candidates shall be arranged in order of merit on the basis of such total marks.

• High School Certificate / IOth Board Examination or equivalent certificate in support of proof of age.
  
• Certificate of Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or such other qualification equivalent.
• Certificate showing typewriting with a minimum speed of 40 words per minute in the computer.
• Certificate showing should have passed PGDCA Course in Computer.
• Certifh..ate of good character from the InstitutIon last attended or two certificates from two persons of repute (one of whom must be a Gazetted Officer).
• Recent passport size photograph.
• Aadhaar card
• Caste Certificate for SC/ST/SEBC Candidates.
