Job Responsibilities:

Focus Area: Elephant Conservation

1. Population Estimation: Direct & indirect methods (camera traps, dung counts, etc.)
2. Field Botanisation: Identify elephant-palatable plants, conduct habitat surveys.
3. Habitat & Disturbance Assessment: Water, shelter, and disturbance evaluation.
4. Wildlife Research: Elephants & other wildlife (behavior, health, diet).
5. Capacity Building: Train frontline staff in wildlife techniques.
6. Rescue Team Setup: Form & train rescue teams, manage conflict scenarios.
7. Elephant Corridor Monitoring: Threat analysis, habitat enrichment.
8. Other Duties: As assigned.
