Canara Bank Apprentice Vacancy 2026

Canara Bank has released the notification for engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27. According to the notification, a total of 3,500 apprenticeship training seats are available across different States and Union Territories. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online after completing their registration and 100% profile on the NATS apprenticeship portal.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

The educational qualification required for the Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice engagement is graduation.

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

Candidates must have a Degree or Graduation in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India.

Candidates must have passed graduation not earlier than 01 January 2023 and not later than 01 September 2026, both dates inclusive.t their NATS registration and Enrollment Number are valid before submitting the application.

SELECTION PROCESS

Canara Bank will prepare the merit list State wise in descending order based on the percentage or marks obtained in the 12th Standard HSC/10+2 or Diploma Examination.

If two or more candidates have the same percentage, their age will be considered, with candidates ranked according to age in descending order.

The minimum qualifying marks are:

The notification specifically states that the fraction of percentage will be ignored. For example, 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%, while 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%. Where CGPA or OGPA is awarded, candidates must convert it into percentage according to the applicable Board or University norms and produce the required certificate.

HOW TO APPLY

Candidates must first register on the NATS apprenticeship portal. NATS Apprenticeship Portal

After completing the NATS registration, candidates will receive an enrollment number. The profile must be 100 percent complete before applying for the Canara Bank apprenticeship.

After that, candidates should:

  • Visit the Canara Bank website.
  • Go to the Careers section.
  • Open Recruitment.
  • Select the link for Engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Canara Bank under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27.
  • Click on the new registration option.
  • Enter the required basic information.
  • Note the provisional registration number and password.
  • Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
  • Enter the NATS enrollment ID.
  • Complete the required application details.
  • Pay the applicable fee online.
  • Submit the application.

ESSENTIAL DOCUMENTS

Candidates have to produce original documents along with self attested photocopies at the time of engagement.

The application form asks candidates to provide:

  • System generated printout of the online application.
  • Proof of date of birth such as Birth Certificate or SSLC/10th Certificate.
  • Passport, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving Licence or another accepted photo identity document.
  • Mark sheets and certificates from SSC examination onwards up to the highest qualification.
  • Individual semester or year wise mark sheets and certificates for educational qualifications.
  • Required Board or University document showing that the result was declared on or before the cut off date.
  • Income and Asset Certificate for EWS candidates.
  • Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
  • OBC Non Creamy Layer certificate where applicable.
  • UDID card and Disability Certificate for eligible PwBD candidates.
  • Any other relevant document supporting eligibility
