Educational Qualification
Candidates can qualify through the following routes mentioned in the notification:
- A Master Degree with Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognised University or Institute.
- Candidates under this route must also have one year experience in handling stores and keeping accounts in a store in a Central Government or State Government concern, Statutory or Autonomous Organisation, Public Sector Undertaking, University, recognised institution, Bank or a private sector organisation listed on the Stock Exchange of India.
OR
- A Bachelor Degree in Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Business Studies or Public Administration from a recognised University or Institute.
OR
A Diploma in Material Management, Warehousing Management, Purchasing or Logistics Public Procurement from a recognised University or Institute.

The notification provides the following age relaxation:
Government servants: Up to 5 years according to the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
ST candidates: 5 years relaxation against reserved vacancies.
Selection Procedure
The selection process consists of several stages.
1. Scrutiny of Applications
- All applications received from candidates will first be scrutinised against the eligibility criteria and required documents.
- Only candidates whose applications are verified and found correct will be issued an admit card.
- The admit card of shortlisted candidates will be sent by post using the envelope enclosed with the application. A list of shortlisted candidates will also be published on the Indian Coast Guard website.
2. Document Verification
- Shortlisted candidates who receive an admit card will undergo document verification on the day of the written examination.
- Candidates must bring the original documents mentioned in the admit card.
- The documents should have been issued on or before the last date of submission of the application, which is 3 November 2026.
3. Written Examination
- After shortlisting and document verification, candidates will appear for the written examination.
- The examination will be pen paper based and will contain 80 objective type questions carrying 80 marks.
- There will be no negative marking.
4. Merit List
- The merit list will be prepared strictly according to the merit position based on marks obtained in the written examination.
- The merit list will be published on the Indian Coast Guard website along with the necessary instructions.
How to Apply:
The application process is offline. Candidates have to fill the prescribed application form given in Annexure I. The form can be completed in either English or Hindi. The completed application must have a duly affixed self attested colour photograph and must be accompanied by self attested photocopies of the required documents.

- Fill the application form in English or Hindi.
