EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Contractual Electrician
Candidates must possess all of the following:
- Class 10th qualification from a Government recognized Education Board.
- Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade through a 2 year course issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training.
- Valid Electrical Workman’s Permit, Part I and Part II, issued by the Government Electrical Licensing Board.
- Minimum 2 years of post qualification electrical job related work experience.
- The experience should be in Government, Semi Government, PSU, Public Limited or Private Organizations.
Experience
- Experience in testing electrical equipment.
- Experience in checking insulation value of electrical equipment such as motors, transformers and cables.
- Knowledge of operation and troubleshooting of DOL and Star Delta motor starters.
- Knowledge of cable termination, fixing cable glands and assembling NFLP and FLP light fittings.
Contractual Associate Engineer, Electrical
Candidates must possess:
- Three year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a Government recognized Board or University.
- Valid Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency, Part I, II, III and IV, issued by the Government Electrical Licensing Board.
- Minimum 2 years of post qualification electrical job related work experience in Government, Semi Government, PSU, Public Limited or Private Organizations.
Desirable Qualification
- Electrical Supervisor’s Certificate of Competency, Part VIII.
Experience
- Experience in testing electrical equipment.
- Understanding of Star Delta and DOL starter operation and related motor wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of earthing systems in plants and installations for body, neutral, lightning arrestor and instrument signal.
- Understanding of control diagrams for air circuit breakers, motor feeders, power feeders, generator control of captive power plants and NGR systems

SELECTION PROCESS
