      Educational Qualification

      Candidates applying for the Assistant Public Prosecutor post must meet the educational and professional requirements specified by OPSC.

        EXAM PATTERN

        The OPSC Assistant Public Prosecutor selection process consists of a Preliminary Examination, Main Written Examination and Personality Test/Interview.

        Preliminary Examination

        The Preliminary Examination carries 100 marks.It is an objective type multiple choice question examination. The notification states that there will be 100 questions, with each question carrying one mark.The duration of the Preliminary Examination is 2 hours.There is negative marking. For every wrong response, 25% of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.The Preliminary Examination is only a screening test for shortlisting candidates for the Main Written Examination. Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination will not be counted for preparation of the final merit list.

        Selection Process

        • The selection process is conducted in multiple stages.
        • First, candidates have to appear in the Preliminary Examination. This examination is used as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the Main Written Examination.
