      Educational Qualification

      The educational qualification differs for Generalists and Hindi Officers.

      Generalists

      • For the Generalist discipline, candidates must have a Graduate Degree or Post Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The notification specifically mentions disciplines such as Engineering, Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture and Data Science among others.
      • Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks, while the minimum is 55% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates in either of the degree examinations.

      Hindi Officers

      • For Hindi Officers, the notification provides several eligible Master’s Degree combinations involving Hindi and English.
      • A candidate may have a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level.
      • Another eligible combination is a Master’s Degree in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at degree level.
      • The notification also permits certain Master’s Degree combinations in subjects other than Hindi or English, provided the required Hindi and English subject or medium conditions are fulfilled.
      • For all these combinations, the required marks are 60%, reduced to 55% for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
      • The qualification must have been obtained from a recognized university or institute in India approved by UGC or AICTE, as applicable, and recognized by the Central Government. The prescribed educational pattern is 10+2+3 or an equivalent system.

      Candidates whose qualification is expressed only through CGPA, OGPA or SGPA must produce the required conversion certificate. The notification specifically states that 59.99% will be treated as less than 60%. The qualification must have been completed on or before 30 June 2026. Working knowledge of computers is also compulsory

      Salary Details

      • The selected Administrative Officer Scale I candidates will receive basic pay in the scale of: ₹82,485 to ₹1,56,745
      • The scale mentioned in the notification is ₹82,485 4050(14) ₹1,39,185 4390(4) ₹1,56,745, along with other admissible allowances as applicable.
      • Apart from the salary and applicable allowances, the notification mentions benefits such as Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, National Pension System and leased accommodation, subject to Company rules.
      • The notification states that the approximate gross pay is ₹1,10,000 per month at Metropolitan centres.
      • There is also a five year guarantee bond. Selected candidates appointed on the regular payroll are required to undertake to serve the Company for a minimum period of five years including the probation period. The notification provides conditions relating to liquidated damages and onboarding and integration costs in case of resignation before completion of the bond period.

      Selection Process

      • The UIIC AO selection process consists of Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Descriptive Test and Interview. Candidates who qualify in the required stages are shortlisted for the next stage. Simply meeting the eligibility conditions does not automatically guarantee a call for the examination or interview.
      • For Generalists, the marks obtained in the Tier II Objective Test and Interview are considered for the final merit list in the ratio of 75:25. The marks obtained in Tier I and the Descriptive Test are not considered for the final merit list.
      • For Hindi Officers, the Tier II Main Examination, including the Objective and Descriptive Tests, and the Interview are considered in the ratio of 75:25. Tier I marks are not considered for the final merit list.
      • Candidates qualified in the Main Examination may be called for interview up to three times the number of vacancies in the respective category and discipline. The interview is conducted at selected centres

      5. Note down the provisional registration number and password generated by the system.

      7. Upload the photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration as required.
      8. Preview the application and verify all details.
      9. Complete the registration only after checking the information.
      10. Proceed to the payment section.
      11. Pay the applicable fee or service charges.
      12. Submit the application.
